is very centrally located on 'Burgh' Square near the government's
building and the 'Holy Blood' church. The history of this
city is as impressive as the site of the hotel: the age-old
Burgh, the historical center of Bruges. |

Crown Plaza hotel
A modern
hotel building. The lobby of the hotel is large, spacious
and bright. The decor is plain and simple but has a touch
of class. There is minimal, but comfortable, seating.
The rooms are generally large but do vary in size. They
are kept in very good condition decorated in pastel colours
with very nice decor. The bathrooms are very nice with
salmon coloured marbelling. The restaurant is has great
views overlooking the square and has an excellent buffet
for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a separate restaurant
for more gastronomic cuisine which is tastefully decorated.
The hotel is actually built on the foundations of a Roman
church, which can be seen from the basement in the form
of a small museum. |
